I know you all are thinking, "man since it is Pg-13, it probably is no good". Well it actually is pretty good. First of all the movie has a pretty good overall story that can be sometimes hard to follow, but if you listen, you will get it. A hacker is killed, and his friends are trying to find out why. They find out that the dead is coming out of electronic devices.
The acting is not A+, and I was expecting more from the lead actor, but I myself did not care, because it was not the "worst acting"
The visuals were pretty good, they were not monsters, and everyone knows that hollywood can only scare with monsters. In this movie you can tell that they are human actors, and the fact that they scare me is good. The thing I liked about them were that they did not use so much gore, because if they did it would look like crap.
Overall the movie is good, not great. It does however make it up there with my top 3 PG-13 movies along with the Grudge and the ring. So if you are not expecting a gore fest, just scares. THEN SEE THIS MOVIE. |
