The Notorious Bettie Page (2006) is a story about how a mere girl named Bettie Page (Gretchen Mol) became the most well-known & scandalous pin-up diva of the 1950's.
The story is well-crafted & well directed by Mary Harron & is not intended to either idolize Ms. Page or scornfully look at 50's porn (tame by today's standards), it is a serious look behind the mystique of Bettie Page.
