Munich would be a fantastic movie if it wasn't supposed to be based on true events. The massacer is correct and accurate, but almost everything after that is pure fiction. It is very unfortunate too because many of the spectators do not know the full and correct story behind the massacar of the Israeli athletes. They will leave this film thinking what Speilberg made them think, which is wrong.
I personally recommend reading the correct story before watching the movie. As i said again, it is a good movie, its just based 80% on pure fiction. |
