Think about it. OK, you have to see GPB first but then think about it.
Hitman starts to wonder why he is doing it. Is almost offed by freelance eurokiller. Holds baby and thinks about life. Has existential discussion with other hitmen. Has clownish run-in with CIA. Changes lifestyle in the end.
Now seriously, this is a movie about life and death, "good and evil", past and future. And pretty well done, too.
The current generation of avid movie goers doesn't remember Munich. So it's as educating as Schindler's List, if not so well detailed.
The only casting I disagree with is Michael Lonsdale as the French connection. He had the same role in Ronin, so give it a rest. Also, did we have to kill a naked woman with a bicycle pump---I'm trying to eat popcorn here.
But hey now ! A big Two Thumbs Up. |
