The movie was marvelous!! Judi Dench is spectacular, both for her acting and in this case for her wit and understated, crisp comments which were hilarious. The film would be almost as appropriate now as it was then. I thought the acting was excellent, the story tight and to the point, the costumes and effects superb, and the originality to make me smile and laugh while viewing both sides of a serious situation. I would recommend the movie to all the "interesting" people I know who for whom it would be appreciated. It is a true gem!!! Don't miss it! |
