Who Cares About These People?

I went to see this because I am a Jennifer Aniston fan. But really, I ended up HATING the movie. It revolves around 3 unsympathetic couples who have waaay too much money, and are almost unbearably petty and whiny about little things. Aniston plays the other extreme of unsympathetic character, the pothead loser at the fringe of society. None of the seven main characters (eight if you count Aniston's predatory loser-boyfriend) is someone I'd care to know or deal with in real life.
By 2/3 of the way through this mess, I had utterly lost interest and was waiting for the final credits to roll, so that I could get dinner.
(In reading other reviews which give a higher rating, I can't help wondering if we all saw the same movie??) |
