In this movie you're invited to witness the lives of three friends who have issues - one with anger problems stemming from what she feels are the world's injustices, and, who, as it turns out, may have a gay husband; one who is coming to realize her husband is disconnected emotionally; one who has had difficulty finding direction in life; and one whose married life is seemingly perfect, but she's the one who seems to be the most out of touch with the other women.
While the problems are not wholly resolved by the end of the film, each character has moved forward in some measure and has gained a better understanding of who they are and what they want.
The film is engaging, and, at times, funny and touching. The acting by all major characters is excellent and definitely worth the price of admission. |
