Friends With Money has a good premise. There is a neat story that is being told. However, from beginning to end, there is not a good flow to the story. There is a great, talented cast in this movie, but not much excitement from their characters. Jennifer Anniston plays a friend who is a maid. She doesn't make much money and her friends are the "rich" ones. Joan Cusak, Catherine Keener, and Frances McDormand are the friends, who all have money and interestingly different relationships with their husbands. Some have sex, some don't. One of their husbands might be gay. It really has a quite interesting story. But I think when making the film and editing it, they left out about a good 15 or 20 minutes to the ending. It just kinda ends with no good reason. This didn't allow a good character develpment and conclusion. It left the story dull and pointless. However, the subpurb acting and casting lifted the grade.
