Put aside the beating this Movie has taken by the critics as well as some of these would be Yahoo Movie Critics.
Secondly, understand that this movie was not supposed to be a visual aid to be used to reference the novels(as some would wish), but one Director's vision of the world of Eragon.
That said, when Eragon is left to stand on its own, without being compared to Lord of the Rings or the Novel, it is an entertaining, captivating, and sometimes endearing film.
When you do see Eragon, and you eventually will, whether it be on Cable or in the Theaters, give it a chance. When you do you might be suprised at the fun that it can be. |
