If you have ever read Eragon or Eldest and are a fan of the Inheritance trilogy, I would highly advise NOT to waste $10 on a movie ticket. They took the basic ideas from the book and put them into a movie, but it's SO much different. The characters are a lot different and they reveal some things in this movie that shouldn't be revealed (since they take place in ELDEST, not Eragon). A lot of story-altering things happen, and it makes it really difficult to watch if you know how Christopher P actually wrote it.
They should have made this movie longer (it's only 104 minutes!!) and added some details in. They didn't do any montages and they should have done at least one, two if possible.
If you loved the books, please save yourself the time and money and DON'T see it. |
