If you have read the book DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE!
This sint another one of your "Oh the book was better" and then walk away type movies. This is is really going to cause a comotion. Lord of the Rings is a good example of someone who has read the book and put thier heart into the film.
I would say I dont want to spoil the movie for you but I dont really care. The movie was butchered so bad, entire events were left out. A TWO MONTH trek across a desert was left completly out. Characters werent mention or were given two minute intoductions.
Im so angry I dont know how to keep going with this.
People in the audince were cheering.... That goes to show you how idiotic people can really be. Its exactly what THEY wanted. All this hype was built up to grab everyones attention and for nothing... for money and butchery. This also reflects our goverment but I wont even begin to get into that.
As soon as I herd this movie was comming out I said to myself, "Hey, I've seen this book in stores, I better check the book out first", and im damn sure glad I did.
My friend, having not seen the movie or read the book made a very interesting point. He said, "They must have grabbed this guy(director) off the street and stopped him from selling his oranges so he could do the movie".
So the lesson here kids is, read books.... your imagination is better than pretty light and cinematic effects.
I should also end by saying THE ONLY impressive thing was the dragon... |
