most avid readers of eragon or eldest would agree that the book is incomparable to the movie (but what book isn't) heck, most books that i've read (and almost anyone I know agree that) have been much much better than their big screen debut (including lord of the rings). i didn't go into the cinema expecting an awesome adventure and every detail of the book that captured me to be able to squeeze into 104 minutes. Given many circumstance and difficulties in making such a film (with the visual effects), I commend the actors in a brilliant performance and the directors and producers and everyone involved in bringing the book we, eragon fans and many others fall in love with into life! |
