This is honestly one of the worst movies I have ever had the misfortune to have seen - including 'Ishtar' and 'American Anthem'.
Extremely poor acting, editing, script, pacing and direction.
Some CGI effects were decent (the baby dragon was nice) but overall this movie is a screaming F-.
John Malkovich is even worse in this than he was in 'Rounders' and talk about lack of character development, did anyone even have time to care that people thought he was evil? He was in the film less than Joss Stone!
Don't even get me started on the evil Urgles, which would have been more fearsome had they been the evil 'Urkles' from Family Matters.
Eragon was a stuttering Nancy Boy and having not read the book I don't even know why Garrett Hedlund was even in this feature since he clearly has no relevance to this particular story (until the obvious sequel).
Not only is it dissappointing to see a film this bad, but to see a film this bad that is so full of itself to assume it is worthy of a sequel is nearly nauseating.
Someone should burn the master copy now. |
