For the first 45 minutes of this movie you are taken on a sort of short journey following a tragedy to a supposed place of healing amongst five friends on a caving expedition. But after that first 45 minutes I started biting my nails when I saw the creatures they were up against. Their story is basically a race to survive and find a way out of the hellish nightmare but along the way the secrets and lies unravel which thickens the plot and gives new meaning to the word "deception". The suspense gives you the shivers, the gore gives you the creeps, and the herione has you rooting for her until the end. Great movie and one of the few real horrors I have ever seen. |
