This movie was written by one of the people that did Bruce Almighty. So I already guessed what was going to happen, I'm not going to spoil it for you. But I did find this movie extremely entertaining even when it was more of a drama than comedy. I believe that is what will bring dates in. This movie is more like the later 90's movies that Sandler did like Big Daddy and the Waterboy.
Story: I predicted that story not only because it was written by the guy that did Bruce Almighty but because alot of Happy Madison films as of late tend to be more dramatic towards the end of the film.
Acting: There was no stand-alone performance anyone that was in the movie did their jobs, and that's all that could be asked of them.
Direction: This is directed by the guy that did the Waterboy. So yeah, it looked good and that's all there is too it.
Visuals: When they do the Click features in the film they special effects look really good, you can tell that they are special effects but the menu will reminds you of a DVD menu, like Bonus Features and such.
Overall: I found this movie entertaining throughout. It's just the matter of the whole comedy then drama. There is comedy sprinkled through the drama, and the more," I'm in hysterics," type by the very end because of all the tension that it built. The movie won't disappoint Sandler fans, they'll love it. I'm giving this movie two thumbs up. |
