I had hoped that this movie would live up to all the hype and although I was a little disappointed it entertained me nonetheless. Some may say it's a "predictable" movie and yes while it had it's predictable moments it was directed in such a way that still made the movie interesting. The story was predictable but took a different spin than some traditional movies and keeps your attention long enough to get it's message, which was EXTREMELY obvious. The acting was a bit better than the plot, but there were a few moments where you felt it could've even been better. The direction of this movie is what makes it worth watching. Without it you would have some cheesey lines, a semi-predictable plot, and some good laughs (there is alot of adult humor as well as some kid humor- Sandler style). It gives you an almost "Scrooge" feel only without the ghosts and still throws in a few shockers that you wouldn't typically see coming. Click is an enjoyable movie if you skip "The Making Of" and just press "Play." Enjoy it for what it is and don't wait to rent it, Fastforward yourself and go see Click. |
