If you got kids also, you can count on this movie. No, it is not an exceptional standout like Cars; it doesn't hit like Hoodwinked, but this movie holds its own nonetheless. It is not the slapstick antic movie. Instead, it's a solid, enjoyable, trustworthy story "for the kids." It has a nice message as well. Importantly, it remains reasonably true to the original story. That's it. It always boggles me why people rate a children's movie by adult-movie standards. Let the kids 12 and under be the judge. This movie was certainly worth the money I spent for a fun evening out with THE KIDS. |
