I think alot of folks missed the point. The movie actually has some good messages:
<>Think of others before yourself
<>It is our differences and unique talents that help run a successful "colony" (=>society)
<> The importance of respect for others, etc... And then there was that little (I think) political jab when the head of council says, "How dare they attack without provocation."
Overall, my niece (age 7), nephew (age 13) and I found the movie entertaining and fun. I also liked the soundtrack.
It's a good summer movie. |
