Ive read some of the user reviews and im a bit dissappointed in some people's reactions to this film. Im not going to get into any of the story (because im sure many already know enough, and i dont want to ruin anything). I personally found this movie to be really good because its moving and uplifting - I had expected this movie to just be OK and a bit plain, but as it progressed, it only ended up satisfying me even more.
Of course it is another movie about the underdog, but its also one of those movies that make you wish you were a part of in real life. I give it an A+ not because i think it desereves an award for best acting or score or anything, but because I credit it to be a fantastic relaxing feel-good kick-ass movie and a great way to prepare for the school year. So rip on my opinions all you want, I still beleive this movie is one of the best comedies ive seen all year. |
