Okay, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It was a vivid eye candy buffet. Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) come together once again with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from his capture in Davy Jones' locker, they go to Singapore and confront the Chinese Pirate Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat). And the ultimate battle begins. This movie picks right up, no lag time, non stop action from start to credits. Plus, it has the most climatic battle scenes ever. This chapter also lets go of some of the comedy for a darker feel and that made it more realistic for me, but what I loved the most was the acting of Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Naomie Harris, Chow Yun-Fat and Bill Nighy. They made the movie believeable and so much fun to watch. This movie is easily the best of the trilogy. |
