It seems as Elijah gets older so does his acting. I did not think his character was believable for a split second. The transition he was supposed to make never seemed to take place.
This story would be best told as a sub-plot. It should not be used to carry the whole movie.
The back-ground characters didn't really do it for me. This movie needed some meaner looking english hooligans. Lock Stock and Snatch are much better at accomplishing this task.
This was kind of like the british version of fight club with a more realistic story line, but Norton does a much better job at making the transistion from wuss to hard-ass then Wood does. If you closed your eyes you would think Elijah Wood was a 12 year-old girl. A bad casting decision in my book.
Best thing about the movie was a few of the fight scenes other then that don't expect much. |
