Well, first thing, I have not watched the original, so I did not know the story prior to watching this movie. I think that the story itself was pretty good, especially with the symbolism it contained, the scare it instilled on the audience and the little action that kept everyine at the edge of their seat.
Although a bit confusing at times, this movie made you think about all of the prophecies that have led up to the birth of the anitchrist "the omen" and how such prophecies have actually happened in real life. Damien and his Nany do a great job of creeping the audice, so if you like being mentally scared, this is definatley the movie for you!
I have to say though, the ending was a bit dissapointing, but I guess it leaves room for a sequel, or it just leaves room for people to think about our current living situation and the disaster that is around us int he world. Overall, one of the better Scary/horror films that I have watched lately! |
