It was courageous from George Clooney and the other producers to tackle this subject. There's no sex, there's no violence (other than psychological) there are no chase scenes, no explosion... only old clips and talking heads. Yet it is quite compelling. Everything that Edward R. Murrow says could probably apply anytime in our history but never more than today when the news is entertainment and is constantly sensationalized to keep the audience watching until the next commercial and opinion manipulation raised to the level of an art form... |
