In the 50's, "The Crucible" was written to point out the abuses of McCarthyism. This fils also serves to point out the dangers of this generation's lurch to the right. Questioning authority is not the same as disloyalty, despite what the right wing says. Relying on the old truism, "Repeat a lie often enough, and it becomes truth" doesn't work now, just as it didn't then. The real truth will always come to light, despite the demagogues' attempts to paint their versions.
Murrow was a giant of a man, to whom we all owe a great deal of gratitude. Strathaim's portrayal was superb, as he had the look, delivery and timing down pat. Portraying it in B & W brought you back to the 50's.

A "Must See" for anyone interested in and concerned by current events.
