This movie was great! This movie, in fact, far out rates his last effort of Diary of a Mad Black Woman. The story line was excellent! I really had a hard time holding back the tears. Madea as always was full of new comedy. The whole theater couldn't stop laughing. The cast was just awesome...Lynne Wyfield (sorry about the spelling) Cisely Tyson, Blair UnderWood did excellent work. Even Boris Kodjoe managed to act like more than just a pretty boy. My favorite scene is when he told his love interest, "Some men are not here to take...They're here to restore" Um Um Um I just wanted to say a loud "well jesus". AND THE WEDDING SCENE. I don't want to say to much about this scene as to not ruin the surprise, however, I must say this scene alone is worth the 7.50 admission. In addition, I give much kudos to Maya Anglou and Ciscely Tyson for their great wisdom and speeches. The Scene where they stand in front of the old fashion slave house was outstanding. Overall, the movie was exceptional. I give it two thumbs up, four stars, and a you'll be sorry if you miss it. |
