I really enjoyed this movie. The story of Elizabeth and David is a story that has been told time and time again, but a good one just the same. I think that Reese Witherspoon does an outstanding job as Elizabeth, the overworked and underloved med intern. The film contains some really funny scenes (the bar scene is classic!)and some very memorable characters (Jon Heder really steals the show with his groovy, hippy-like personality). The music is great too! The re-records of the Cure's "Just Like Heaven" and the song "Just My Imagination" are really great. This is a great film to go to on a first date; charming and warm. There is a slight twist in this movie that really makes it worth the price of admission. Go see Just Like Heaven; you'll love it! |
