Reese and Mark make this movie what it is...a cute, sweet, almost too short romantic feel good movie. Without these two actors, the plot may not have come off so believable and perhaps the audience I was in may not have clapped in the end.
The plot is typical, but with an interesting twist. Kind of like Sleeping Beauty meets Ghost.
Jon Heder (Napolean Dyanamite) is fantastic (if not underused) as the quirky medium/supernatural store clerk.
My friends and I had the plot figured out before the movie began, but hey...sometimes it's just nice to smile and feel good about something. We were rooting for the couple (literally, out-loud along with everyone else)to survive all the twist and turns of the story.
I really liked this movie. It was a break from life and the heavy feelings of everyday existence. If you just want to have a good time, go see this movie. |
