this movie is hard to swallow and the acting gives little to be desired for, however, Ritchie manages to make some interesting visuals which at times, as distracting as they are, is this movies one saving grace.
Revolver is ultimately one of those movies where the audience spends so much time trying to keep up with it's ponderous, pseudo-intellectual story-line that too often they don't take the time the to realize that it really a movie about a whole lot of nothing.
Frankly, if Ritchie wasn't so damned impressed with himself he might have something here. Quite possibly the most smug movie I've ever seen |
