Okay, I've read many reviews about Lord of War, and many people feel it was a liberal Hollywood promoting a left-sided agenda. I disagree. Now, just for the record, I myself am pretty far right. That being said, this was not much of an anti-war or anti-bush or anti-guns movie. It was much deeper than that. It was about doing things that we aren't necessarily proud of for personal gain; this is something that we all face. Also, at the end the movie mentions that the top 5 nations that export weapons are the United States, France, Britain, China, and Russia. It then says that these are the only permanent members of the U.N. Security Council. That is an interesting fact... but my point is that the U.N. is a rather liberal organization (not saying that that's good or bad, just saying), and the movie kind of blasts it with that fact. I urge you to see it; I was quite dissapointed with its opening weekend. A movie like this deserves so much more than something like xXx, which probably grossed a lot more than this will. I kind of went off on a tangent there--sorry. I urge you to see this because it is not a movie you watch, it is yourself that you watch.
