I am not a liberal. I like guns. I like hunting. I'm in the US Air Force, and I like what I do. I also like this movie. The point and fact is that you will get out of this movie whatever it is you want to see. If you want to say it's all a big conspiracty by the media, then you're going to see propoganda. If you think guns are evil, you're going to see plenty of that. But this is what I think you should see walking away from this:
It's not a movie about the evils of guns, or gun running, or really, even about guns. It is a film that shows, with a fairly stark, and acurate vision, the state of the WORLD in which we live today. I think all this film is really meant to do, is give people who don't usually get a chance to see, how things REALLY ARE around the world. We forget in this great country of ours that other places are not like this. And this film shows us that very effectively. Yes, there is a political undertone there, but if you simply pay attention to the entirety of the film, you realize it's completely overshadowed by the stark representation of a world most will never see. My advice would be to see this film, listen to the message it portrays, and find what that means, and how it aplies to YOU. Hopefully we're not SO to the point where everything is given to us so readily that we can't find meaning in something for ourselves.
