After watching Blast, I was thoroughly dissapointed. I was excited to see Eddie Griffin take a new type of role, however watching his performance, he was a victim to terrible direction. The dialogue of this movie was so terrible that the actor's seemed to have trouble executing their jobs with a straight face. There was little or no style to the film, and that shouldnt be surprising considering director Anthony Hickox's last movie was a made for TV Armande Assante action flick. Hickox should stick to directing movies that dont have their feet in reality.
Over all however, I am a fan of bad movies. I found this movie entertaining only because it was fun to watch Eddie Griffith and Brekin Meyer(Road Trip)say the cheesiest of cheese cliches, and try to execute ridiculous plot lines.
If you dont take this movie seriously, I think you will enjoy this movie. |
