Woody should just stop while he is behind.This film felt like it was 5 hours long.If people would just take Woody down off his pedestal and blow some dust off him they might realize that the emperor has no clothes. The story was pessimistic and predictable. The twist ending or the hope for a twist ending merely ends with Woody's typical moral abiguities.He should have started with the two detectives at the end and possibly made an entertaining film instead of this tripe.
Even pimping out Scarlett's beauty for titillation,no pun intended, didn't help nor did Rys-Meyers dead performance.I don't see how anyone in the story or audience could care for his character or performance.Such a waste of good actors, my time, and movie dollars.
And Woody should let Lady Macbeth lie along with Dostoyevsky because ...aw hell this movie is crap and isn't even worth the review. |
