I was so amped to see this new Bill Murray movie, but director Jim Jarmusch forgot something, the story.
Murray does great with the dialogue he has, but the 20-30 some odd minutes of b-roll filler of him going from destination to destination drags this into the mud.
I won't even discuss the storyline because quite frankly it was a waste of time. I really wanted to like Murray's character, but given his sitcomish level of depth, it was hard to. Good supporting actor/actress performances were to be found, but apparently Jarmusch's "style" as everyone puts it, was not for me.
Rent this movie on one of those nights when you can't sleep, it's a guaranteed cure. |
