Idiocracy is masterful satire, which brutally and relentlessly pokes fun at the mindless stupidity of our "modern" times.
Yes, for those of you who didn't get it, this movie isn't really about the future, it is about today - and it is YOU that the film is mocking. No wonder you didn't like it, LOL!
If you have ever been amazed at the stunning stupidity of a crowd you happen to be a part of, you will definitely relate to the man renamed Not Sure.
On the other hand, if you think our current "civilization" is actually advanced and intelligent, if you like watching American Idol and think it is a good thing that they just built another Starbucks down the street from you, prepare to be mocked..... |
