Ok, want to see a good romantic movie set hundreds or thousands of years ago? Don't depend on this flick to fill the void. It's so cliche, and their chemistry...oh please, so unrealistic, they did not make the audience feel as though they were in love...the only thing they gave me to cry about was the money I spent. James Franco did nothing for me, the whole time I was thinking they should have cast Henry Cavill as Tristan. Anyway aside from that, it did not live up to the likes of Braveheart, or Gladiator, now those were real men...real heroes...real plots. Even Kingdom of Heaven was easier to stomach than this one.
People who love "love stories" will know what I mean after seeing this one. Something in their love affair was missing, you didnt feel like all of that was worth risking, it was like ALRIGHT ALREADY!
No lie though, the fighting/action had me at the edge of my seat.
I just beg of HOLLYWOOD to please not disappoint me with Brave World...now that I am looking forward to. PEOPLE PLEASE JUST LISTEN TO THE CRITICS, THEY GET PAID FOR A REASON. |
