Fun and entertaining, but it has its flaws

"A cool action movie that would have been great except for the barrage of unrealistic stunts."
Transporter 2 is a cool, fun movie. It's not bad, and the reason it did not recieve three stars is because of the ending and some of the unrealistic parts. Once you get past watching the unrealistic scenes, as I did, it's good, until the ending. I did not like the ending at all, and it is probably the reason I bumped this movie down to two and a half stars.
It's almost as if the crew stopped trying during these final minutes. The CGI looks absolutely terrible during the ending plane sequence, and it is just completely unrealistic. It would never happen. The plane probably should explode on contact with the water, and even if it didn't, it should've been ripped apart by the force on which it hit the water. I was frustrated with the ending, although mostly the movie has things to be glad about.
It is a cool, fun action movie. Jason Statham is the perfect person for the role of the Transporter. His personality is priceless, he is so devoid of any expression, it's hard to know what he is thinking. Not many other people could have filled in his role and make the Transporter as good as he did.
Also, the action scenes are ones to admire. The car, jet ski, foot chases are ones that keep you glued to your seat. Although unrealistic in several accounts, they certainly are incredibly entertaining. The martial arts and fight sequences are great as well, Frank Martin (Statham) certianly uses his surroundings to his advantage during these scenes. Now that I think about it, I don't think he ever fires a gun in the movie. He might've in the ending, but I don't remember anytime else.
The plot is interesting and not too complicated, and there are some nice scenes that are able to be in the film because of the plot. Also, I must comment on the soundtrack. There were some great instrumentals that added to the fight scenes, which is always a plus. An interesting French character delivers some humor to the movie as well. Oh, and by the way, there really is no romance in this film. Girls probably won't enjoy this as guys would, but I saw this with two girls who liked it. You never know.
If only it weren't for the lack of realism and the ending. This movie was fun and entertaining, although the drawbacks are just a tad too big.
