The Transporter 1 was a good two and a half star
movie with enough flare and style to keep the
audience engaged with a stunning European setting. I went into the Transporter 2 expecting a pretty bad movie that had some decent action. The previews were just kind of blasé and the storyline seems formulaic. HOWEVER within the first 30 seconds you are swept into a GREAT action movie with a GREAT plot and some absolutely incredible stunts. I loved "The Italian Job" and "The Bourne Supremacy"
which both has some of the best car chase scenes I have ever seen, however The Transporter 2 leaves them all in the dust. Never did I expect a sequel to a sub par movie to be so engaging and just downright good.

Transporter 2 is not meant to be a realistic movie, therefore if you are expecting reality, then look elsewhere and this is not your bag of tricks. If you want an American James Bond, then this is exactly your cup of tea. The new Transporter movie stretches his character of a man who just delivers a package and following the rules to being the new American hero. Following many of the principles that made Bond great is "The Car, The Suit, The Action and the Style". In many ways, I actually liked this
movie better than the average Bond movie. This
movie is like "Man on Fire meets 007".

The Transporter 2 is a movie about an ex special
forces agent turned freelance transporter. He drives a cool tricked out car to ensure that he has the speed and resources to get his package to where he needs to be and always has enough clientele to keep him busy. He asks no questions about what is in the package and goes only to where he needs to be. The sequel takes place in Florida as opposed to Italy and
France and this time he is taking care of the DEA Director's child. When the child gets kidnapped he must unfoil a secret plot against the government, save the boy and find a cure for a deadly disease.

Like I said, the reality factor is not here, but it is purposefully not supposed to be. The Transporter 2 is meant to serve action up on a stylized platter along with a side dish of plot. Everything seems to work in this movie and while you are watching it, you even
laugh at some of the suspended reality, but unlike other movies that try to make unreality reality, this movie actually shows you exactly what could never happens and gives you a chuckle while doing so.

I am tempted to give this movie only 4 stars because after all it is a Transporter movie, but I cant I have to give it what it deserves. 35 of 4 Stars. The movie is a blast to watch and a great movie for car lovers, Karate fans and action/romance lovers.

Warning: This movie contains Extreme Violence
(Little Blood), Mild Language, Mild References and 1 scantily clad woman who likes to fight in what is kind of a like a bikini. She is a mega FemiNazi and completely butch.

3.5 of 4 Stars for this Excellent Action Flick
