Heath Ledger continues to improve in this predictable but thouroughly enjoyable film. Ledger brings life to a one-step-ahead of the church Casanova who is finally forced to take on a respectable wife, only to find his female ideal once he is engaged to another. The film makes no bones about being light romantic comedy; fans of the stodgy Olivier Shakespeare films, don't bother. |
