I took my 5, 6, and 8 year old girls to this movie assuming it would be a cheesy, slow movie like most that are out right now. When I read the "Movie Mom review" I was worried that the younger two wouldn't enjoy it since she stated ages 9 and up, but this was one in few that kept them staring at the screen 'till the very end!!!
The story line was cute, every girl remembers the big crush she had at that age. And I think I laughed more than my girls did-everyone (kids AND adults) in the theater really seemed to enjoy it!
There was only one bad word (the b-word) which in MY opinion truly didn't need to be there, but my girls didn't even notice. Other times, bull "shark" and other words were used instead.
I recommend this movie for the entire family. I don't, however, know how boys will react to it, since I don't have any sons. But my husband really missed a cute movie! |
