Three big strikes against this one....

First, from watching the previews I thought this would be a funny, lighthearted movie. It fails miserably as humerous parts are few and far between.

Second, it's so depressing! I'm going to a holiday movie for entertainment and a few laughs and leave feeling bored and depressed.

Third, the last thing I want a movie to do is lecture me on social issues. Especially a movie that markets itself as a holiday comedy. This movie is overflowing with political correctness as those with alternative lifestyles are presented as thoughtful and superior and anyone with a different opionion (traditional values) is a bigoted idiot.

There were a couple of humerous moments toward the end of the movie but after being depressed and lectured to, I couldn't even bring myself to smile.

It's no wonder Hollywood is losing money, they just don't get it!
