From a pure entertainment perspective, you enter the theatre and expect to see Arnold- Schwarzenegger-style ruthless homicide bombers that attempt but fail to unjustly abrupt the lives of many innocent civilians and a lot of Arabic talking. You might be surprised there - maybe not about the Arabic part- but as emotions run high throughout the 1 hour 30 minute movie and adrenaline runs high, there will be moments of subtle sadness, sympathy to the bombers, and even - with likable personalities such as Khalid and Said -laughter. Time flies by with this truly unique well written, well performed, and well directed drama. It worthes every penny of your 8 dollar ticket.
The political aspect on the other hand is a controversial message of peace, that might not be easily grasped although portrayed. Killing civilians is not justified and not acceptable in any way shape or form but we need to fight the root causes of the problem and not only the symptoms. |
