You would have think it difficult to entertain a predictable Rome and Juliet mod com but this one is genius. Wheher the country will find it a charming as I did is another story nbut for locals in the NYC metropolitan area this will be a favorite among Italian Ameicans and the people that know them. A perfect dat movie but I went with my brother and amet more thatn a few friends in the audience. It is real , sweet and Colin Dubin has the part down as an innocent looking for more. Robin Paul is the wonderful Angela trying to do right by her family but feels the call of Anthony and the two of them make magic.
Vincent Pastore and Frank Vincent are very funny as the patriarchs of these twoo feuding familys that should have joined forces long ago instead of fighting. They have a great chemistry together on the screen and the close up camera work and fast editing bring excitement to the film. I think you will like it!
If a destributor gets their act right on this on it will outdo I Like It Like That easily( missed their market) and compete with Greek Wedding. |
