Usually, fables, fantastical stories that usually use animals, are meant to imitate human society. Consider the penguins in this movie. What is the principle goal of their civilization? Perhaps to seek out the just, the noble, and the good? No. These penguins live or die for the sake of "making the egg." You'll say, "well that's what penguins do." Of course, you're right. But this is a fable, not a documentary. Do the lions in The Lion King spend their time eating and mating? NO. Do the mice in the famed Redwall books spend their time eating and mating? No because these are good fables, in which life is more than just sex. This perverse, Happy Feet really amazes me. The first half of the movie is just about sex, and the second half is just about the envirowackos' agenda. It's the perfect movie if you're a fever-swamp liberal. Frankly, I think this movie is perverse and disgusting. I never take the trouble to speak my mind about movies; this one really moved me. Parents, do not take your kids to see this garbage. |
