Andre 3000 has skills as an actor, as does this entire cast. Well casted movie. Terence Howard, who keeps impressing me with his ability to adapt to a character, plays a good cop this time, coming off his role as a pimp/rapper in H&F. Overall, the movie whizzed by. There were no dull moments. Although a little predictable, the cast does a commendable job through the hail of gunfire. I'm sure with a nice dts transfer this will sound great on my home theatre set when it drops on DVD. Singleton passes the test again. Some of the editing was a bit choppy, but it doesn't ruin the movie. Go see it if you like this genre of movie. |
