John has interjected some highly entertaining details in this action-packed tale of brotherly love and revenge. Beginning with the dialogue and spreading out through the soundtrack, action sequences and the thrilling personality we see of every last character (including the bit roles), FOUR BROTHERS is an ENORMOUS pleaser!
I will say that a couple of weak plot developments exist around the death of the mother, Evelyn Mercer. Despite those flaws, FOUR BROTHERS manages to bring the gangster/crime genre to a TOTALLY fresh new age!! |
