The producers weren't kidding when they added the sort of, just a stretch here and there, like the top of the Stratosphere hotel blowing up, but it's a movie and I suppose ties in well. Story overall was pretty good, it's an action, gun-toting type movie with some humor thrown in. The way the movie was shot was kind of erratic, with the camera constantly moving, not shaky like Blair Witch, but enough to give you some eye strain. Fans of Keira Knightley will pleasantly surprised to say the least, it's a very different role than "Bend it Like Beckham" or "Pirates..." Overall it was pretty decent, two hours was a bit long, but it really wasn't too horrible. But don't let reviews daunt you, watch it and judge it for yourself. Me? If it weren't for a free screening, I would wait for it to come out on DVD. |
