It's like you're watching the book

It's extremely rare that you find a movie that is just as magical as the book it's based on.
I won't say that the movie follows the book 100% but this classic story was put to the big screen very well. I honestly felt as if I was watching the book.
The visual effects were stunning in many ways- The animals were brought to life in a very VERY real way and often I found myself in awe of how personified they made them. The spider Charlotte was to me the most stunning visual effect of all. I was amazed at the CGI work of both Charlotte and her web weaving. At times I was trying to figure out if they mixed real life filming of a spider with computer enhanced imagery or not.
This story captures the human spirit with emotions of love, laughter, sorrow, and pure joy. I can't recommend this movie enough- It's pure movie magic put to good use and the director did a good job of putting fine touches on an already great story without re-writing the book.
Overall- I believe you won't be dissappointed in this movie. Even the loyal readers of the book should agree this movie was well worth every penny!
I wish most movies could capture the magic of a book the way Gary Winick has done in Charlottes Web!
I hope this review was helpful!
