Who cares if this movie is labelled a 'Chick-Flick'.This movie has a very interesting storyline.A mother named Jean has a taste for the worst men imaginable,and her two daughters that sit and watch their mother ruin her romance life.Holly goes out and decides that she cannot bear watching her mother fall-apart anymore, and that it`s time she takes things into her own hands.Holly creates the Pefect Man from a Normal Man and molds him into the Perfect Romanctic Man that her mother has been waiting forever for.However Holly`s idea backfire and her idea of the perfect romance between a guy and her mother fails and Holly is left for the blame.But things get better and it has a nice ending.
There are minor things that make this movie seem a little non-childish.There is talk of Gay-Romance,Several Scense of Depression for Holly`s Mother,and the most disturbing thing is the idea of a teenager lying..but it`s quite nice that she would go through all this trouble for her mother.Another disturbing thing is that Hilary Duff is wearing some of the most 'skimpy' clothes out there.Other than that this movie is excellent for mother and daughter bonding :) |
