Not true to the video game but still pretty good!

While this game is not exactly the video game transfered to the big screen; it is a fun movie to watch. As everyone knows this movie is based on the video game Doom. The video game Doom was about scientist on Mars who some how release hell on the remote station. It is about demons and other beasts from hell. Well the movie takes a different approach. The scientist are performing genetic experiments and they loose control.
Some people on here have complained about Rock's attitude in the movie and that he is not realistic as a Marine. Someone made fun of him yelling Semper Fi. That has long been part of the Marine Corp. Let me give you a piece of advice and that is to never make fun of Semper Fidelis to a Marine.
This is a fun action packed movie. Don't expect to see Oscar nominated performances here. Just go and sit back and enjoy the film. Don't go into the movie expecting to see the video game on the screen. There are many things taken from the game that were part of the movie but not the whole thing. |
