To start off, the movie is kind of intense for the very young crowd who was very much in attendance but terrified. To tell you the truth, the scares worked to my advantage because the little ones were too scared to yak during those scenes.
I enjoyed the mind-blowing animation. For an animated movie, I was impressed and actually enjoyed myself. I was also pleasantly surprised that the story was good.
As the only new family movie out this week, it sure delivers. Adults and kids will enjoy it alike. In what sort of feels like a weak summer at the movies, this movie is a great way to beat the heat. |
